"Notifications are barely working now"
I keep missing messages because bumble notifications either don’t show up at all or randomly come in hours later. I’ve checked all my phone settings, deleted and reinstalled the app, and it’s still doing the same thing.
For a dating app, that’s a big problem. Replies actually matter, and now it makes me look like I’m ignoring people when I’m not. Like, give me a break.
"Better matches than I expected"
Bumble surprised me in a good way. I’ve tried a few dating apps before and most felt like endless swiping with barely any real conversation, but this was different. A lot of the people I matched with actually seemed to read my profile and wanted to have genuine chats. I went on a few nice dates, and I’m still seeing one person now, which feels like a small win for me. Overall, I’m happy I gave it a shot.
"Banned with No Real Explanation"
My account got banned and I still have no idea why. I barely even used it that week, so it came out of nowhere. I tried reaching out to support, but all I got back was some copy-and-paste message about the rules. No actual person, no real explanation, just automated-sounding replies. It feels like moderation is completely random, and there’s basically no real way to appeal if you can’t even talk to a human
"Pretty solid location accuracy overall"
I’ve been on Bumble for a few months now, the location feature has been reliable for me. Most of the people I match with are actually nearby, not secretly two hours away, which I appreciate. Every now and then someone shows up farther out than I expected, but reading between the lines, I figure that probably has to do with travel mode or when they last opened the app. It’s not perfect, but compared to a few other dating apps I’ve tried, it’s definitely better.
"Got it working in the end"
It didn’t work the first time, so I gave it another try and then it went through fine. Not the smoothest start, but it did what I needed eventually.

"Setting up my profile was simple"
Setting up my profile was easy. I liked how the prompts guided me along, and the badges made it feel a little more fun and personal. To me, it felt like the app was trying to help me show a bit of my personality without making the process feel like a chore.

"I’ve been using Bumble on and…"
I’ve been using bumble on and off for a few months now, and the response rate has been better than I expected. Not every match replies, of course, but a decent number do. Some conversations still fizzle out after a message or two, but I feel like that’s just how dating apps tend to go in general. From my experience, weekends seem to be better for getting replies too. I’d give it 4 stars because it feels more active than some other apps I’ve tried, but you still have to be patient with it.
"Decent features, but the price feels a bit high"
I gave bumble Premium a try for a month, and to be fair, there were some useful perks. Being able to see who liked me definitely saved time and made the app feel less like endless swiping. That said, a good number of the likes were from people far away or just not really my match, so it wasn’t quite as helpful as I hoped. The Boosts did seem to help a little, but not enough to feel like a big game changer. Overall, I wouldn’t say it’s bad at all, I just think the price could be more reasonable for what you actually get. I’d probably consider using it again if there was a discount

"Still worked out for me despite a few quiet profiles"
When I first started using it, I did notice a handful of profiles that seemed like they hadn’t been active in a while, so I wasn’t totally sure what to expect. But after spending a bit more time on it, I actually started getting matches and ended up having some really good conversations. It wasn’t perfect, but it definitely worked well enough for me and I had a decent experience overall

"Pretty decent, even with the fake profiles"
I’ve chatted with a few genuinely nice people on here, usually while I’m bored after work or waiting for my coffee in the morning. There are definitely fake profiles that pop up more often than I’d like, which gets annoying, but it still feels better than most dating apps I’ve tried

"Not really what I was hoping for"
I’m 42, so I wasn’t expecting my inbox to be blowing up or anything, but I figured I’d at least get a few decent conversations going. In reality, I barely got any matches, and most of the chats I did have fizzled out quickly. Maybe it works better for other people, but based on what I expected, it was disappointing

"Good app, but the swipe limit gets old"
Bumble has been alright for me overall. I’ve actually met a few decent people through it, so I wouldn’t call it a bad app at all. It’s simple to use, and compared to some dating apps it feels a little cleaner and less chaotic.
The main thing that bugs me is the swipe limit. I get that they’re trying to push people toward paying, and support basically gives the usual “limits help keep the experience balanced” type of answer, but it’s still frustrating when it stops you right as you’re seeing good profiles. Some days the free version feels barely worth opening. 3 stars from me.

"I’ve used Bumble on and off…"
I’ve used Bumble on and off for a while now—honestly I can’t even remember if I first tried it last year or the year before—but overall it’s been decent. I do like the safety prompts and the reporting feature is straightforward when something feels off. That said, I’m still not totally clear on what happens with my data, and every now and then some weird profiles still manage to show up. It’s not a bad app, I just wish it felt a little more secure

"Feels a bit too pay-to-play"
It wasn’t the best experience for me. I kept switching up my photos and tweaking my prompts (probably way more than I needed to), but it still felt like my profile wasn’t really being shown to anyone. Matches picked up a little at first, then slowed down quickly unless I paid. The app itself works fine, but overall it just feels kind of unfair.

"Cool concept but not perfect"
I like the idea a lot, but sometimes the chats still fizzle out quickly

"I’ve been using bumble the search and filter..."
I’ve been using bumble the search and filter options have been frustrating for me. I’ll set my distance, age range, and what I’m looking for, but then I still end up seeing people who are way outside those preferences. It makes the whole thing feel more like I’m just swiping through random profiles instead of getting matches that actually fit what I selected. It’s annoying because I expect the app to at least follow the basic settings I put in.

"Too Many Sketchy Profiles"
I kept running into profiles that looked fake or were barely filled out, that’s on the app for letting it get that bad. A few matches replied like bots, and others disappeared after one message. It got to the point where I didn’t know who was even real anymore. If they can’t do a better job with profile authenticity, I don’t see why anyone should pay for it.

"Support fixed my login issue fast"
I kept running into the same login problem over and over, which was getting really annoying. I tried a few times, got stuck again, and was already frustrated because it just kept happening. But support actually got back to me quickly and fixed it without making it a huge hassle. The login trouble was irritating, but at least the help was fast.
"I’ve been using it for a…"
I’ve been using it for a bit, and the algorithm pretty much gets my type. The suggestions are usually close to what I’m actually looking for, which makes the whole experience feel easy and kind of personalized

"Freezing way too much lately"
As someone who actually wants to use dating apps without making it a whole project, Bumble has been frustrating lately. It’s fine when it works, but the app keeps freezing or crashing on me, and sometimes my messages take forever to load or send. I like the idea of the app, but the lag makes it annoying to keep conversations going.
